Beginnings
Chris Jones began training with Exeter BJJ in 2006 at the age of 18.
He specialises in No Gi Jiu Jitsu/Submission Wrestling, having won multiple competitions including the 2018 ADCC British Championship in the –99kg category.
Athlete
Over the years he has been a very active competitor, frequently medaling at prestigious national and international competitions.
He is also a Freestyle Wrestler, taking a silver medal at the 2019 British Freestyle wrestling championships.

Years of tape study and training make Chris one of the most knowledgable coaches for the ‘little details’ that determine success or failure.
This attitude of constant improvement means that he is always at the cutting edge of new developments in the sport which he shares in his classes.
